Destiny

Destiny is something you’re meant to do. A gut feeling you know you have to fulfill destiny can be knowing what to do with your future or being destined to help others.

    I think that there is destiny in life but I disagree about the characters having destiny in the lord of the rings. They are characters that cannot have destiny. Even though when reading the book the characters seem real, when I close it I do not see how or what they are destined to do other than the main point of destroying the ring.

Fourth and final book review

I just finished the short second life of bree tanner and was very pleased at how the book turned out. The whole book had a lot of detail just like twilight. That is the main reason I chose to read this book for my independent reading project. I love how author Stephanie Meyer makes you feel like you are in the same world as the characters of her books. She makes you feel like you know what will happen next and how it will turn out and I enjoy that very much. There was a lot of imagery and flashbacks in this book. Lot of flash backs on bree from before she was turned into a vampire and what her life was like.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed reading the twilight series. It is a good read and lets you continue learning about the twilight series and characters. I enjoyed reading it very much and think Stephanie Meyer did a great job with keeping her readers entertained in this book.

Third book review

For my third book review I am almost done with my book. The short second life of bree tanner. I still enjoy reading this book very much but am finding it is getting a little repetive.i find that it is very much like the third book in the twilight series,elcipse. I know that this book is based from eclipse just in another point of view which is very intresting, I guess I just imagined it being a little different and getting more into depth about the antagonist in the book which is Victoria.

The book is still very interesting and I like it very much. The climax of the book is very intense at the section of the book I am reading it is the big fight between two groups of vampires. I can’t wait to find out how the fight will turn out and if the main character bree will survive as a vampire in the fight or not.

Sherlock Holmes movie review

A recent movie we watched in class was Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed this movie because it was a mystery/action movie. The movie had a lot of detective work and solving crimes which I thought was very intresting.some parts in the movie were hard to follow as in many new characters came in threw out the book and the way the main character, Sherlock Holmes solved his crimes.

Sherlock Holmes is a detective that lives in Europe and solves crimes for many different people. He has many followers and many enemies which get him into a lot of sticky situations throughout the book.

Sherlock never solves crimes alone he always has a partner with him. His partner is also a doctor and they live together. They consider themselves brother always having each other’s backs.

I enjoyed this movie during class, it is defiantly something I wouldn’t have chose to watch on my free time or in the theatre but after giving it a chance I realized it was a very good movie.

Second book review

After reading a little farther into this spinoff twilight book, I realized I like the twilight series better. This book I am a little confused with how the story is going to pick up the pace and what the climax of the story will be. Since it is all four books of twilight squeezed into one I am feeling like I am reading bits and pieces from all four stories just in another point of view. Hopefully I am wrong and the book will pick up a little more.

So far in the book bree the main character who is 17 years old, has just moved into the house with all the other vampires her age. She has to learn all the rules of being a vampire and how to fit in.

I am curious to see how bree will fit in and her thoughts on being a vampire. Also what will happen in the book, the title says short second life? So will bree die and have another shot at being a vampire?

First book review

The book I chose for this assignment was the short second life of bree tanner. This book was written by Stephanie Meyer; she is also the author of the very popular twilight series. This book is a sequel, a character in twilight in her point of view.

Twilight is all about vampires and werewolf’s fighting against each other to save a very special human, bella swan. They save her because she is very close with both the vampires and werewolves. The two groups are saving her from the antagonist in the book which is another group of vampires lead by Victoria.

The short second life of bree tanner is about a young vampire, bree tanner. How she is adjusting to being a vampire in victorias clan and her of becoming a fighting vampire. Her leader Victoria is preparing her clan to fight against the werewolves and other vampires, because Victoria does not like them associating with humans and wants to put a stop to it.

I am interested in seeing how this book will end and reading about the twilight series from another point of view.
